Hong Kong airline Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd expects to report a lower first-half loss than last year on the back of strong cargo performance and lower costs, the company said on Tuesday, but warned that this year’s loss would still be “substantial”.
The loss for the first half of last year was HK$7.57 billion ($964.34 million).
