It will be an extraordinary role. For his next feature film which will be titled “The turtle”, director Léa Domenach wanted to pay tribute to the former first lady, the wife of the late Jacques Chirac, Bernadette. And for the occasion, who else better than one of the greatest French actresses, Catherine Deneuve, fortunately recovered from her stroke. While filming should begin in April, Catherine Deneuve shares common character traits with the ex-wife of the President of the Republic.
In addition to this, the two women embodied the Yellow Pieces operation for many years, which binds them in a way that could not be more intimate. On the side of the other actors of the shooting, if not much has leaked, we are able to affirm that Denis Podalydès should play the main male role alongside Catherine Deneuve. But the main lines of the scenario have not yet been revealed.

However, Catherine Deneuve has never been a big fan of mixing political opinions and the world of culture. So she said that “The actors do not have to state their opinions. I see too many of them who launch into major interviews where they are questioned about what they do not know. This results in a festival of platitudes. And then, what they say always goes in the direction of the hair… They always preach a certain form of generosity, which must undoubtedly compensate for the fact that they are obsessed with themselves…“. Let’s see what this ambitious project will bring!
