Oops, that must have been a mistake: There is an entry in the British royal family’s appointment calendar that provides information about the Christmas plans of Catherine, Princess of Wales, 41.

Catherine, Princess of Wales appointment revealed

Attentive observers of the magazine “Hello!” When looking at the royal calendar on the court’s official website, an appointment by Richard, Duke of Gloucester, 79, and Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester, 77, particularly caught the eye. The following is on the program for the couple for Friday, December 8, 2023: “The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester will attend a carol service held by the Princess of Wales at Westminster Abbey in London.”

The Princess of Wales’ Christmas concert will be listed in the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester’s calendar.

Christmas concert in Westminster Abbey

This should confirm that, as in the past two years, Kate will once again initiate a service in which Christmas carols will be sung. The location of the celebration has also been revealed: the concert will take place in London’s Westminster Abbey in the run-up to Christmas. It was the same in previous years: in 2021, Kate’s Christmas concert was also held on December 8th. Prince William’s wife, 41, surprised the audience that evening with her first public appearance at the piano. In 2022 the event fell on December 15th.

Initiative for a good cause

The Princess of Wales has created her own little tradition for a good cause with her “Royal Carols: Together at Christmas”: The mother of Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5, had the Christmas concert two years ago was launched to thank non-profit organizations and individuals who supported the Kingdom’s communities during the coronavirus pandemic.
