The royals go to great lengths to look their best. But not all of their cheats are elaborate. With a simple styling trick, Catherine, Princess of Wales, cheats her legs as long as a yard without much effort.

Whether fitted dresses, cream-colored pumps or special jewellery: the Princess of Wales simply knows exactly what to wear to impress. Or how she optimally showcases her height and can even stretch it by a few centimetres. The core element for extra-long legs à la Kate is: the right shoes – in cream. At the big Wimbledon final, the royal mother of three wore classic beige pumps by Gianvito Rossi, with which she immediately conjured up endlessly long legs.
At the award ceremony, Catherine shone with her usual elegance. For such an important appearance, the Princess of Wales leaves nothing to chance – when it comes to her choice of shoes, she is a repeat offender.

The calculation for this is quite simple: Due to the almost uniform color of Kate’s skin and the shoe, her foot looks like an extension of the leg and forms a perfect color unity instead of a usual – but unfortunately compressing – contrast. There are extra points and centimeters for the model with a five-centimeter heel and pointed toe cap, which also stretches the foot again. At husband William’s polo tournament in early July, she wore beige slingbackPumps from Camilla Elphick in this style.

At the British Royal Family’s annual Easter service in April 2023, the Princess of Wales perfected her own styling trick, choosing cream pumps by Gianvito Rossi with a cobalt blue coat dress by Catherine Walker. Her legs look super slim and super long, especially from afar. Bravo!
