The glittering brooch she wears on the left side of her lapel is from the late monarch’s estate. Queen Elizabeth received the precious piece of jewelry in 2016 for her 90th birthday. It was commissioned by the Racing Post newspaper and made by Birmingham based jewelers Alabaster & Wilson Ltd.

The glittering piece contains 35 brilliants and is crafted from three shades of gold: white for the horse, gold for the jockey and rose gold for the reins and bridle.

Queen Máxima: Is she wearing a piece of jewelery from Queen Juliana’s collection?

During Queen Máxima’s visit to Den Bosch, attentive observers noticed a very special piece of jewelry: a gold bracelet by Cartier. The bangle made of 18-carat yellow gold with eleven different elephant figures is considered a true rarity and can only be purchased at auctions and selected jewelery dealers. The purchase price is currently between 15,000 and 25,000 euros. For Queen Máxima, the exquisite piece not only has a high material value, but above all a sentimental value, as it is considered a family heirloom. The bracelet is said to have belonged to Queen Juliana’s collection. Her husband King Bernhard was an elephant lover and liked to give his loved ones special pieces of jewelry. After her death, the coveted treasures went to Queen Beatrix and then to Queen Máxima.

It is not the first time that the Queen has worn this special piece of jewellery, the bracelet has also adorned her wrist on various occasions in the past.

The rest of Queen Máxima’s look is also worth seeing. During her visit to the Equal Opportunity Community, she wears a purple pantsuit and combines it with an ornate headband with rhinestones. The star of the look, however, remains Cartier’s gold bracelet.

Zara and Mike Tindall: together they ensure a harmonious play of colours

Beaming and happy faces at the Cheltenham Festival in Gloucestershire. First and foremost, Zara Tindall, 41, who not only expresses the interpersonal harmony with her husband Mike Tindall, 44, by holding hands intensely, but also through a perfectly coordinated partner look.

Instead of choosing the same pieces of clothing, as is often the case, the royal duo manages to create a coherent partner look despite the different elements. The secret? Conscious use of colour: Mike picks up the burgundy nuances of Zara’s coat or hat in his tie. The daughter of Princess Anne, 72, processes the dark navy blue of his suit in a shirt with a ruffled front and in elegant suit trousers.

Despite the perfect color coordination, Zara relies on the skilful mix of various more expensive and cheaper designers. She wore her Karen Millen coat to Catherine, Princess of Wales’ Christmas concert in 2022. The blouse comes from the popular label &OtherStories, while her trousers were bought at The Fold for a much higher price.

The elegant Juliette Botterill hat rounds off her look and is particularly impressive thanks to the floral elements. She wears her hair in a plaited, deep bun and makes an excellent and exciting choice, especially for the earrings, which are reminiscent of blackberries.
