Cathy Hummels: messed up at "5 against Jauch" football question

Actually it should have been a huge chance for Cathy Hummels, 32, but unfortunately the wife of Borussia Dortmund star Mats Hummels, 31, apparently has the luck of the player as a candidate for the Saturday evening show "5 against Jauch" (30. May) not on your side. Together with her prominent team-mates Wayne Carpendale, 43, Frauke Ludowig, 56, and the comedians Mario Barth, 47, and Chris Tall, 29, she competes against "Wer wird Millionär" moderator Günter Jauch, 63 – and kills her chances of all things on the topic of "Bundesliga".

Cathy Hummels: Bundesliga question makes her stumble

Before the broadcast, the influencer posted a reference to the program and did not reveal any words about her faux pas. "The moderator Oliver Pocher even praised me during the show. What ??? I know, I can't believe it either," she merely reveals. The beautiful model conceals the fact that she also provides one or two benevolent laughs in the studio.

What happened? It is actually the jackpot for the player woman when she and her team can choose between the Bundesliga or consonants before the final. Of course, Cathy decides on the soccer question.

"Bundesliga? Is that first or second division?"

Moderator Oliver Pocher, 42, asked the following 5,000 euro question: "Which coaches became champions in the Bundesliga with their team?" Ten answers are available, five of which are correct. Before she bursts out with rash tips, Cathy wants to know more precisely: "Bundesliga? Is the first or second division?" Pocher explains: "Only the first Bundesliga. Who really has the championship trophy. Not the dirty rim from the second division. Only the right stuff."

When the 32-year-old then typed on the Dutchman Huub Stevens, 66, Chris Tall grinned in between: "Who should he have won the championship with? With Schalke? They melted all the trophies. A coin came out."

Cathy makes a new attempt with Thomas Tuchel, 46. Again, Chris Tall switches at lightning speed and makes the supposed soccer expert ponder: "He was very successful with Dortmund. You have to know whether your husband has won the championship with Dortmund." Now the addressed woman starts to stumble: "I don't think so. Just under Klopp." Wayne Carpendale's not really serious reminder doesn't help anymore: "Did he ever come home and was happy?"

Celebrity team wins for a good cause

However, the likeable celebrity candidate does not completely play aside. With her tip on Otto Rehhagel, 81, she is right and helps her team with it and also with some questions that have been answered correctly in other subject areas about the overall victory against Günter Jauch. A huge success for the celebrities, but above all for a good cause. The "Five Against Jauch" earned 46,600 euros, which are to be used for various projects for children all over the world.
