Cathy Hummels: She regrets her "selfish" reaction to Covid-19

Cathy Hummels (32) has spoken again on Instagram about the corona virus. The wife of Mats Hummels (31) announced a few days ago that Covid 19 cases had occurred in her family. Thereupon she went into self-quarantine and canceled her participation in the ProSieben live show "Schlag den Star", which this Saturday (March 21st, 8:15 pm) with substitute candidate Jasmin Wagner (39) is broadcast. But the mother of little Ludwig (2) now regrets that she wanted to be panicked after the coronavirus cases in her family.

"Through my own panicked carousel of thoughts, I wanted to put myself in quarantine, although I would have had no need for it," said Hummels. After a phone call with her doctor, she understood how "selfish and stupid" her reaction was. "Only people with strong symptoms should take the test, because the test is symptom-free because I could be in the incubation period and the test would be negative," said Hummels. The longer she thought about it, the more she became aware that "out of fear and panic she had given an ill-considered and wrong picture" of herself. "But it is now clear to me that the virus itself is not the major danger, but rather the overloading of our health system. If we all stick to the measures, we can do it together."
