Cathy Hummels also recently tried to find a new partner via dating apps for several weeks. In the interview she takes stock.
As far as her search for a partner via dating apps is concerned, Cathy Hummels (35) can now draw a clear conclusion after a few weeks: “It’s going absolutely shit. There are a lot of rags out there, men who write to 30 women at the same time,” she told the news agency spot on news as part of this year’s Oktoberfest stroll on Monday (September 18th) in Munich.
Cathy Hummels: “I’m not suitable for every man either”
The ex-wife of footballer Mats Hummels (34) made it clear that this was not necessarily her claim. The presenter had already revealed publicly in August that she was now trying the modern way of online dating. At that time, however, she was much more optimistic than she is now.
She is aware that she is “not suitable for every man”. “Of course the best thing is when you find someone where you say: ‘Okay, that’s right, you’re having a good time together.’ But most of the time it doesn’t even happen,” Hummels continued. Her current conclusion when it comes to dating apps is: “To be honest, I think it’s a bitch!”
Got a new cell phone number at the Oktoberfest
Aside from online dating, the 35-year-old was able to report a small success when it came to finding a partner during her Oktoberfest stroll: “We fulfilled the motto ‘Love Edition’ perfectly! At least I saved a new cell phone number in my contacts!”
Cathy Hummels was married to Mats Hummels from 2015 to 2022. Their son Ludwig was born in 2018.
