Cathy is a farmer who marked the minds of viewers. It’s in the 15th season of the show Love is in the meadow that she made herself known. A candidate who had shocked with her many remarks. This Tuesday, August 1, 2023, Cathy shared a moving message on her account instagram. In the caption of a photo of her father, the farmer addressed him. “The years go by. It’s already been seven years, seven years since you decided to leave, to abandon life, despite everything life goes on with difficulty”, she simply asserted. A moving tribute to her dad, who ended his life in 2016. A drama that marked her a lot. “I have a lot of restraint. I rarely express my feelings in public”, she confided in the columns of TV 7 Days, in September 2020. “When my dad died, I had a psychological follow-up. I learned to react in this way in the face of certain painful episodes in life”, Cathy concluded.
Cathy, a candidate who had upset viewers
In March 2020, fans of the show airing on M6 were able to discover the portrait of Cathy, new candidate. In search of the man of her life, the farmer had made heartbreaking secrets about her father’s suicide. She explained that the latter had never recovered from having poured, by mistake, toxic products on his vines resulting in the loss of 15 hectares, out of the 30 existing ones. Following his death, Cathy had to take over the reins of the vineyard with her sister. A task that has not always been obvious since this family drama was omnipresent in his thoughts. “I got followed afterwards. For a year, after discovering my father dead, I was really, really bad.” she confided in the face of Karine Le Marchand, very touched by her story. “I’m someone who always needs to have plans, but during this year, I felt like I was on cloud nine watching the world from above. So I decided to take myself hand,” Cathy said.
