He has just confirmed that he has a total of 3 projects The Witcher planned. The first is nicknamed Project Polariswhich is in pre-production in a team of more than 150 people and will be a open world rpg which will mark the beginning of a trilogy : its 2 successors are planned within a period of 6 years following its release. Then there is Project Siriusan original take on the franchise with multiplayer elements in addition to a single-player campaign, for newcomers and fans. He will be sign The Molasses Flooda studio recently acquired by CD Project.
Finally there will be Project Canis Majorisanother single-player open-world role-playing game developed by a team made up of former CD Project. It is confirmed that the latter will run under Unreal Engine 5 (and would therefore be the one teased by a lynx medallion a few months ago), but nothing says that the others will also use the engine ofEpic Games.
CD Project also plays cards on the tables for its other franchises. Yes, it prepares well a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 that will be led by CD Project, Project Orionand also an original license in the conceptual phase with a small internal team since the end of 2021, Project Hadar, which will become the third series of the Polish company.
