A big page turns at CD Project Red, which announced yesterday in its latest report the implementation of a whole host of projects, the construction of which will occupy the teams for at least ten years, if not more. The Polish studio changes tack and reviews its entire strategy, with new games The Witchera sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 and a new license. But all this will be done without the help of Marcin Iwinskihistorical figure of the studio while being its co-founder, who resigned in stride.

You may have seen the interested party during the studio’s speeches after the complicated launch of Cyberpunk 2077. He was one of the most highlighted people in the studio, but also the co-CEO of the company, in which he worked for more than 30 years.
He spoke about his departure in a press release:
“ I was at CD Projekt for nearly 30 years and watched it grow from a handful of passionate rebels to an internationally acclaimed development studio of role-playing games loved by millions around the world. […] Our hugely ambitious strategy is held together by such an inspiring and strong team, and I deeply believe in our plan to take CD Projekt to new heights. For this, I intend to remain a major shareholder, and in my new non-executive roleI will remain active and engaged with a focus on supporting the full board. »
Marcin Iwiński therefore remains a major shareholder in the company, but he will no longer be in charge of the teams. With this change, we can therefore believe that CD Projekt Red is entering a whole new phase of its existence, which promises to be rich in games, and we hope, less in crunch.
