Delphine Jubillar, who worked as a night nurse in a clinic in Albi, disappeared in December 2020. Her husband, with whom she was in the process of divorcing, is the main suspect. He was indicted for murder and imprisoned on June 18, 2021. He claims to be innocent.
Justice believes that the investigators have brought enough elements of the guilt of the 34-year-old plasterer painter to keep him in prison, while Cédric Jubillar’s lawyers claim that the file contains no irrefutable evidence.

The investigating chamber of the Toulouse Court of Appeal, he specifies, “rejected the appeal and considered that Mr. Jubillar should be kept in detention. It seems that we are being told to wait for the results of “expertise, new confrontations. It’s a file that we artificially keep alive, under perfusion”.
For Emmanuelle Franck, another lawyer for Cédric Jubillar, the investigators must redirect the investigation.
“At some point, she said, it has to stop, we admit that this Cédric Jubillar part is over and we move on. If we don’t make progress on the search for Delphine Jubillar , it is that we start from the postulate that it is Cédric Jubillar. When we look for another postulate, another culprit, perhaps we will find it.
A new request for release will be filed soon, the lawyers also said.
During the hearing on March 15, the public prosecutor requested his continued detention.
