Cédric Jubillar: this very unusual request made to Delphine and her son on the evening of the disappearance

On the evening of December 15, 2020, Cédric Jubillar summoned Delphine and their son Louis to his room for a very specific request. Explanations by Ronan Folgoas, journalist from Le Parisien present in Crimes on NRJ12 on April 4, 2022.

Since the publication of his book The Jubillar mystery, investigation at the heart of a disappearance published on March 17, 2022 by Studiofact, the journalist from Parisian Ronan Folgoas continues his tour of the sets to give answers to one of the most intriguing facts of recent years. Thanks to months of on-site investigations and interviews, the journalist was able to bring new elements to the investigation, in particular concerning the very evening of the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar. This is what he explained in the program Crimes, on NRJ12, in which he was invited this Monday, April 4. If the chronology of this fateful evening has already been drawn with more or less precision, Ronan Folgoas reveals in his book that after going to bed, Cédric Jubillar made arequest from his wife and their eldest son, Louis.

It’s around 10:30 p.m. that Cédric Jubillar goes to his room, in which he sleeps alone since it’s been some time since Delphine sleeps in another room. While the nurse and her son are watching television, the father of the family asks them both to come see him in his room to give him a hug. So far nothing out of the ordinary, except when you know that this is a very unusual request from Cédric Jubillar. In fact the family is reluctant to show affection and the evening hug is far from being a ritual. It is rather an isolated occurrence which can therefore leave room for different interpretations. “It’s an unusual scene, which is put forward by Cédric and which is confirmed by his son, Louis. He describes this moment, which can be analyzed in many ways, when Cédric summons his son and his wife for a hug“explains Ronan Folgoas.

Did Cédric Jubillar want to say goodbye to Delphine?

Delphine Jubillar on her side “play the game”although she has spent the evening exchanging messages with her lover from Montauban, with whom she plans to start a new life once the divorce with Cédric Jubillar is finalized. Was it staged to show his son that he still cared about his mother? Or Did Cédric Jubillar want to kiss his wife one last time to say goodbye? Difficult to analyze this atypical request from Cédric Jubillar, main suspect in the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar and imprisoned since June 2021 after being indicted for murder by spouse. In the absence of probative evidence and a body, the latter is however always presumed innocent.
