Cegedim: new partnership with Gustave Roussy

(CercleFinance.com) – Cegedim announces a new partnership with Gustave Roussy, Europe’s leading cancer center, to which it provides its anonymized patient database THIN (The Health Improvement Network).

This health database, one of the largest in Europe, brings together the computerized and anonymized medical records of 69 million patients, collected from general practitioners and specialists in seven European countries.

The purpose of this partnership is to train Gustave Roussy’s algorithms on THIN anonymized medical data, to determine the factors associated with the occurrence of cancers, and to develop or validate hypotheses in order to prevent or treat them.
