The USA celebrated the new post-Trump era with numerous stars, ex-presidents, Tom Hanks as a presenter and gigantic fireworks.

America made the change of power with a virtual party. Stars such as Bruce Springsteen (71), the Foo Fighters, John Legend (42), Justin appeared at the livestream event in honor of the 46th US President Joe Biden (78) and his Vice President Kamala Harris (56) Timberlake, 39, and Katy Perry, 36. The titles of the songs alone spoke a clear language, which translated should convey: Hope and joy, now everything will be fine.

Jon Bon Jovi (58) covered the Beatles classic "Here Comes The Sun", cellist Yo-Yo Ma (65) played "Amazing Grace", John Legend played Nina Simone's "Feeling Good", Justin Timberlake (39) and Ant Clemons (29) sang their new song "Better Days", the Foo Fighters played "It Is Times Like These", Broadway stars sang "Let The Sun Shine In" ("Aquarius") from the musical "Hair" and others Demi Lovato (28) smacked Bill Wither's "Lovely Day".

Actor Tom Hanks (64) hosted the evening or night. In addition, ex-presidents Bill Clinton (74), George W. Bush (74) and Barack Obama (59) had their say. And of course the new president and vice president addressed the nation with optimistic speeches in front of the statue of Abraham Lincoln. To top it off, Katy Perry performed her hit "Fireworks" – accompanied by gigantic fireworks, of course.
