Sat.1 has announced the winner of “Celebrities under Palms”: Giulia Siegel dedicates her victory to her late colleague Willi Herren.
Sat.1 has the winner of “Celebrities under Palms” announced on Instagram: Giulia Siegel (46) was therefore able to prevail on the show against her celebrity colleagues. “Giulia stayed true to herself until the very end, stood up for others, expressed her opinion openly and was not influenced by anyone,” said the broadcaster. Ultimately, she would have prevailed with 31 seconds ahead of Katy Bähm (28) and won the Golden Coconut and 100,000 euros.
Only two episodes of the show were broadcast – Sat.1 decided not to continue showing the program after the surprising death of Willi Herren (1975-2021). In a short statement, Siegel also expresses himself emotionally about the events: “Without Willi by my side, I would never have made this show!” She wants to dedicate the victory to him and his family. “It was my rock and my place of strength. We sang, laughed and trusted each other. Thank you, Willi!”
