On the 20th day of “Celebrity Big Brother” two candidates are eliminated and one takes the shortcut into the final.

“Celebrity Big Brother” is the hot phase on day 20. Danny Liedtke (31) can buy his final ticket on Wednesday, while Eric Sindermann (33) and Daniela Büchner (43) have to say goodbye to the Sat.1 show shortly before the final.

At the beginning of the 20th day, the focus is on Eric Sindermann and his search for a loved one. “I don’t expect anyone who has studied atomic physics,” says Sindermann, “but one with whom I can talk on an equal footing.” “It would be time for someone intelligent to move in with Eric,” says Melanie Müller on this question.

Better cool than smart?

In the first game of the evening, the celebrities prove that the intelligence thing can still be worked on with the other residents. Spread out on a table, they find words from which they should form pairs and attach them to a pin board. The trick: the syllables are separated in a common way. For example, the “teenager” can be found on the table as a “tea rodent”.

This leads to all sorts of creative word creations (“Ein-Torf”, “Disco-Lute”, “Natur-Gen”) that don’t always make sense. Danny Liedtke doesn’t think that’s bad: “Television has an educational mandate and we are all a little bit smarter now.” The residents of the “Big Planet” house clearly win the game in the end, Uwe Abel (51) sums up the defeat: “We’re just cool and not smart.” As a reward there is a kebab plate, which Eric Sindermann licks clean happy and satisfied at the end.

One blow after the next for Eric Sindermann

This satisfaction is then over, because Sindermann’s parents send him a video message that tears him into an emotional hole. Eric pleads with his parents via video reply: “It is best not to watch the show at all”. “I can understand that he is in a bad mood now, but he should just pull himself together”, Melanie Müller (33) comments on the situation without humor.

Emotionally, the first announcement of who has to say goodbye to “PBB” also gets down to business. Danny Liedtke is the first to find out that he is allowed to stay, which he acknowledges with a “Yeah! Thank you!” Marie Lang (34) is also allowed to stay, which moves the former kickboxing world champion to tears. Eric Sindermann, on the other hand, has to leave, who at least does not have to fear that his parents will suffer with him at “PBB”.

Liedtke makes his way into the final early on, Büchner packs his bags

The “Golden Final Ticket”, which is then distributed, pits three residents of the two houses Big Planet and Space Station off against each other. For Big Planet, Daniela Büchner (43), Papis Loveday (44) and Uwe Abel try to transport slime on their heads faster than Danny Liedtke, Marie Lang and Melanie Müller for the space station team. In the end, however, the space station team does better and wins. The three winners then play the “Golden Final Ticket” in a short game among themselves – Danny Liedtke wins the crisp interlude and thus enjoys “nomination protection” on Thursday and Friday.

The audience decides on the whereabouts of the rest of the group in the following 40 minutes by voting – at the end, the audience shoot Daniela Bücher from the space station back to planet earth. She takes it easy: “Now I can finally see my children again!”
