The eighth season of the reality show "Celebrity Big Brother" is available in an extended version this year. Instead of two weeks as before, the celebrities now have to stand three weeks under constant observation. The station announced on Wednesday.
The start date was also announced: "On Friday, August 7, 2020, at 8:15 p.m., the door to the world of Big Brother will open for the new celebrity residents at 'Celebrity Big Brother'". The programs are broadcast live every night on Sat.1. Jochen Schropp (41, since 2014) and Marlene Lufen (49, since 2018) lead through the shows again.
The candidates are still secret. Soap actress Janine Pink (33) prevailed last year.
