Celebrity Big Brother: That's why Jenny Elvers would do it again

Celebrity Big Brother winner Jenny Elvers reveals her most emotional moment on the show and explains why she would participate again.

"Promi Big Brother" started a new season on Friday (August 7th): 16 celebrity residents will spend the next three weeks in "Märchenland" (8:15 pm, daily live on Sat.1 and on Joyn). Jenny Elvers (48) will analyze the processes in the house on "Sat.1-Fühstücksfernsehen" with Anouschka Renzi (56) and Janine Pink (33) as "Celebrity Big Brother" experts. The winner of the very first season will be on view from August 10th (Monday to Friday, from 5:30 a.m., daily live on Sat.1 and on Joyn), her two colleagues will take over the other two weeks.

"This is the third time I can be on 'Breakfast TV' as a 'Celebrity Big Brother' expert. Not only do my own experiences come into play there, but also editorial work, which I find very exciting", Elvers explains in an interview with the News agency spot on news. "I talk to the editor on the phone at night after the show and have a say in who makes it into the show. I'm always there with a lot of heart and commitment." She knows one or the other candidate personally, but she still tries to remain neutral. "However, women always have a small bonus with me," notes Elvers. How does she look back on her own time in the TV container?

Jenny Elvers: "I would do it again"

"I had an exciting, emotional and very special time in the 'Celebrity Big Brother' house that I wouldn't want to miss," says Elvers. She definitely does not regret her participation: "It is always exciting how people act in extreme situations. I would do it again." She also got on well with her colleagues and she is still in contact with one or the other. "There was no one there who particularly got on my nerves (laughs)."

"The moment of absolute silence" was particularly emotional – "when I was all alone and then left the house as the winner." And what tip could you give the new candidate? "Don't try to portray someone you are not. Switch on your mind and hopefully not forget your upbringing at home."
