Celebrity Big Brother: These four candidates complete the new season

The last four candidates for the new season "Celebrity Big Brother" have been officially announced, including Simone Mecky-Ballack and Werner Hansch.

On Friday (August 7th) the new season "Celebrity Big Brother" starts on Sat.1. So far, twelve participants were known, now the broadcaster has officially confirmed the last four residents who have already enjoyed the network: cult commentator Werner Hansch (81), ex-player Simone Mecky-Ballack (44), "The Biggest Loser" -Coach Ramin Abtin (48) and drag artist Katy Bähm (27) complete the field of candidates. In the opening show (8:15 p.m. live on Sat.1 and on Joyn) you will move into fairytale land and meet the rest of the celebrities.

Werner Hansch has "some things to make up for"

Werner Hansch, at 81 years of age, is the oldest candidate in the history of the show. "I already have a bit of life experience to contribute. Maybe I can convey something to one or the other and maybe I can even convey one or the other message beyond the group," says Hansch about his motivation. Another reason for his participation: "I have a lot to make up for and the fee helps me a lot."

Simone Mecky-Ballack, the ex-wife of the former national soccer player Michael Ballack (43), is concerned about the possible boredom: "I need work. If I have nothing to do, I go crazy, that's it for me Horror."

That is what Ramin Abtin and Katy Bähm want to achieve

Ramin Abtin, known as the coach of the weight loss show "The Biggest Loser", has no plans to encourage his roommates to exercise every day at 5am. "I am a team player and can also ensure that the others on my team feel comfortable."

Katy Bähm was already seen on the ProSieben show "Queen of Drags". She wants to create a mood. "Hopefully, I will bring life to the place. The people in the house should also be entertained," she explains. In addition, with her participation she wants to "bring the queer culture closer again in a different way."

These twelve participants have already moved in

The four newcomers meet soap actress Elene Lucia Ameur, comedian Udo Bönstrup, ex-jungle queen Jenny Frankhauser, scene DJ Senay Gueler, teleshopping presenter Sascha Heyna, Ballermann singer Ikke Hüftgold, Kelly family member Kathy Kelly, Wimbledon Winner Claudia Kohde-Kilsch, "Love Island" participant Mischa Mayer, reality star Emmy Russ, the former Swiss "Bachelorette" Adela Smajic and ex- "GZSZ" star Jasmin Tawil.

The eighth season "Celebrity Big Brother" lasts three weeks for the first time, from Friday, August 7, to Friday, August 28, 2020. The show runs daily at 10:15 p.m. and on Fridays and Mondays at 8:15 p.m. From Monday, August 24th, live broadcasts will be broadcast daily on SAT.1 and Joyn at 8:15 p.m.
