While version 2.6 adding the Chasm and Ayato on Genshin Impact has just been released, a series of quests that become more complex as we go deeper into the mines are offered to us. Since we unlocked access to the lower part with the bedrock keys, things kept getting more complicated and many players ran into a puzzle that acts like an insurmountable wall and prevents them from continuing the adventure. We are talking about the task that requires us to use the cannon through a series of mechanisms with a somewhat complex functioning that part of the community has not been able to understand.
How do I access the quest?
To start the mission we will need to have completed “Chasm Spelunkers” which is the second quest in this series. In this one, we found ourselves stuck, because we could not access the warehouse since the keys were not in our possession. The first step that awaits us is therefore to find its two keys. However, before that, you have to take the quest from Jinwu who is at the camp of the exploration team. Once the request has been accepted, we can finally search for its two keys. Their location is directly put on your map so it will make your search easier.
Find the two keys
It won’t be too complicated since the areas are indicated on the map, but you have to know that the first is in a pot located on the water tank and the second is guarded by some treasure thieves, but to access this place, you will have to be very careful, because there is a hole allowing you to go down and that is where you will find the area of the second key. Next to the chest, you can dig up an explosive barrel that must be exploded to reveal the key. Once, the two keys in possession, you must return to the door which blocked you before. To make it easier for you, teleport with the teleporter unlocked at the end of the previous quest.
Once this objective is completed, we will have to continue the mission by obtaining ammunition and creating Geo Oils for which we will need frogs and Heart of Lapis (6 of each).
The riddle of the three lights
Then we will have to teleport north of the main mining area and read a guide that tells us what to do. We will have to interact with three lamps. To achieve this, you will first have to find their location by observing the area. You will recognize them by their lights. And if you can’t see, they are located south of our location (using the area we read the guide in as a reference). We strongly recommend that you do this in order. First those who are higher in the image and finally the one who is lower.
Be careful, because you will need to have your Lumen Stone Adjuvant at Level 2 for this part of the quest and more particularly the last lamp which will ask to use the blooming light to eliminate the miasma once the enemies are beaten. To upgrade it, you need to talk to Jinwu at the Exploration Camp and have 16 Lumen Crystals and 1 Lumen Ore.
To complete the mission, we need to activate them like this.
- Lamp 1 (top) : Activate
- Lamp 2 (central area) : Activate
- Iamp 3 (lower) : Activate and change the frequency once
Final cannon shot
Once this is done, we can interact with the cannon, which we will have to move once to the left and twice down. Press the fire button to open a new path in the Chasm area. To continue, move forward following the indications and the fairy. Ultimately, we will have to activate the mechanisms of light. Don’t forget to activate the teleport point on the road as well. It would be silly to miss out on a potential time saver. To do this, consider removing the miasma with your Lumenstone Adjuvant using Blooming Light. Don’t worry about the energy, you have spots giving you back around each mechanism to activate.
The quest is coming to an end, but there is one last test before closing it. After activating the mechanics, a powerful enemy will appear and he will attack you. Defeat him and if we can give us any advice, he uses the Hydro element so feel free to use Pyro or Cryo for example. Once this fight is over, it’s time to attend the final scenes of this smoothly conducted mission.
