According to CDU man Friedrich Merz (64), the next German politician is infected with the corona virus. Greens politician Cem Özdemir (54) explains in a short video, that he uploaded to his Twitter profile: "I have tested positive for Corona." He's doing very well, as you can see, the 54-year-old continues. He had "previously voluntarily entered extensive quarantine" and therefore did not have to change much now. "All necessary measures" had been initiated and he "followed the instructions of our authorities".
Özdemir makes it clear: "You don't have to worry about me first." He goes public with his corona disease to show that "each and every one of us can be infected". It is about "protecting everyone else". The Green politician appeals that anyone who does not have to work outside their home "stay at home". He continues: "Take it seriously. Please stay at home!" Özdemir ends his video with a big thank you to those "who have to work outside. You do a damn great job".
