Century: Age of Ashes: Playwing delays the launch of the PS4 and PS5 versions to the last minute

Bad news for players who were hoping to take advantage of Century: Age of Ashes on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. While the title was supposed to arrive today on Sony’s platforms, Playwing decided to postpone its launch to the last minute.

A new release date in the next few days?

As explained by the Bordeaux studio on Twitter, “Getting certified on PlayStation – what we call ‘going gold’ – straight after the Xbox One release and the start of Season 1 is a tall order. Therefore, we need a bit more time to ensure that we meet the standard quality standards needed to deliver the game on these two platforms. »

The developers add this: “We know that not sharing an exact release date can raise concerns but, rest assured, […] our team is hard at work debugging the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions, while polishing the recently released Xbox One version. »

Note that, still according to Playwing, “It’s only a matter of days” before knowing the new release date of the title which, despite this postponement, should land this summer on Sony consoles. Note that the studio has also announced that it is working in parallel on balancing issues and the future content of season 1.

In the meantime, remember that Century: Age of Ashes is already available on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
