The announcements continue at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. At Jabra, we are taking advantage of the event to launch the new representative of the range ofwireless headphones
Elite.

Thus, Jabra has just formalized the launch of the Elite 4 Active, a pair of waterproof Bluetooth headphones offering active noise reduction. They seem promising, first of all because of their autonomy and their rather affordable price.

On the program: active reduction and use in mono

With an introductory price of 119.99 euros, the new Elite 4 Active are effectively positioned halfway between the Elite 3 (99 euros) and the Elite 7 Active and their 180 euros.

The True Wireless headphones also take over certain characteristics of the Active 7, starting with active noise reduction (ANC). Designed for sports, they will offer an inverse frequency to surrounding noises, which allows them to be canceled and to leave only the music. Another function, called “HearThrough”, on the contrary brings “transparency”: it must allow the continued capture of ambient sounds for greater safety during outdoor exercises to avoid accidents. Its activation requires a push of a button.

The alternative: the Elite 4 Active allows you to use only one of the two ear cups, the free ear allowing you to stay on the lookout for surrounding noises.

The Elite 4 Active also have a customizable equalizer (via the Jabra Sound + application) and access to Spotify Tap. They are compatible with AAC and aptX Bluetooth codecs. A set of four microphones will handle the calls. It is also through these microphones that the HearThrough function will pass.

Already available on the Jabra website

Jabra’s latest products are IP57 certified, meaning good resistance to water and dust. On the other hand, the brand abandons the ShakeGrip coating of its Elite 7 Active here, which provides complete support for the headphones. Nevertheless, Jabra guarantees its accessories for two years.

The other strong point, if we stick to the words of the brand, lies in the autonomy of the Elite 4 Active. They have seven hours of battery life, which is as much as the Elite 3. A figure on the average for Jabra, which comes to 28 hours of endurance with the charging case. Still according to the brand, 10 minutes of recharging is enough to restore an hour of music listening.

The new headphones are also compatible with Alexa Built-In and Google Fast Pair. They are available from January 3 in three colors (black, blue and mint). They can already be found directly on the brand’s website with free delivery, but also on various merchant sites.
