The CES in Las Vegas is well and truly launched. Asus has already presented its new gaming products on January 3 and it is now around “classic” products to be unveiled. Like yesterday, we basically have range refreshes. Nevertheless, a PC attracts all eyes: it is the ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED.

This ultra high-end computer is intended for creators. To stand out, he relies on his extraordinary slab. It is indeed the first PC of the brand to be equipped with a 3D screen without glasses. A technology that Asus has called Spatial Vision and which is furiously reminiscent of Acer’s Spatial Labs.

The characteristics of the PC make you dream. It is equipped with a 16-inch OLED panel with a definition of 3200 x 2000 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. For the moment, it is impossible to say what 3D is worth without glasses, but we can imagine something similar to what the competition is doing. Inside we have an Intel Core processor of 13e generation (up to an Intel Core i9-13980HX), up to an RTX 4070 graphics card, 64 GB of RAM and up to 8 GB of SSD storage. A beautiful baby who adopts dimensions of 356 x 271 x 20.9 mm for 2.4 kilos. No release date or price yet.

Note that this is not the only PC equipped with a 3D panel without glasses, since Asus has also unveiled the Vivobook 16X 3D OLED. It has the same panel as the previous PC, as well as the same characteristics, but with a more classic chassis. It will be available on 3e quarter of 2023 for a starting price set at 4999 euros.

Asus has also lifted the veil on its two new Zenbook ultraportables: the Zenbook Pro 14 OLED as well as the Zenbook 14X OLED. The first is the most upscale. It is equipped with a 14.5-inch 2.8K OLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz, an Intel Core processor of 13e generation as well as an RTX 40XX graphics card from Nvidia. We are here at the limit of the ultraportable, since the PC still weighs 1.65 kilos. It will be sold during the second quarter of 2023 for 2999 euros.

The Zenbook 14X OLED offers the same features, but is content with an RTX 3050 and is a little lighter, weighing 1.5 kilos. A computer that wants to combine transportability and power. It will be available in the second quarter at a starting price set at 1,799 euros.

In addition to these PCs dedicated to work, Asus refreshes its TUF range with new versions of the TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition (1699 euros), the TUF Gaming A15 (1499 euros), the TUF Gaming A17 (1599 euros), the TUF Gaming F15 (1599 euros) and the TUF Gaming F17 (1799 euros) .

In short, Asus is betting on refreshes this year, but don’t forget to highlight its innovations. If 3D screens without glasses do not necessarily sign a revolution for the general public, this technology could be very useful for professionals who work on 3D. It remains to be seen whether buyers will be there.
