CES 2023: ASUS presents the ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition mouse and the Hone mat

ASUS continues to unveil new products at CES 2023 of Las Vegas, and after his computers ROG Zephyrus, Strix and Flow and its keyboard ROG Azoth equipped with a small OLED screen, the Taiwanese manufacturer presents a new mouse for gamers accompanied by its mat :

The mouse ROG Harp Ace Aim Lab Edition and the carpet Hone Ace Aim Lab Edition are therefore a collaboration between ASUS ROG and Aim Laband are designed for players of FPS demanding. The mouse thus has a settings optimizer to analyze the player’s performance and offer personalized settings. The Harp Ace weighs only 54 g and has an optical sensor ROG AimPoint climbing up to 36,000 DPIwith a deviation of less than 1 cpi, while the wireless technology ROG SpeedNova ensures low latency in 2.4 GHz RF mode. On the side of the carpet Hon Aceit features measurement marks which, combined with the program Aim Lab x ROG 360 Task, help players practice aiming. The surface is made of hybrid fabric (a water-repellent, oil-repellent and dust-repellent nano-coating), without forgetting the presence of a rubber base to ensure good stability. ASUS details:

  • ROG Harp Ace Aim Lab Edition Gaming Mouse :

ROG Harp Ace Aim Lab Edition mouse features ambidextrous ergonomics that have been tested by the esports pros at Aim Lab. Understanding the needs of esports gamers led designers and engineers to create 15 different versions of the ROG Harp Ace, until the perfect balance of form and weight distribution was achieved. The resulting silhouette is ideal for FPS gamers who spend long hours gaming with stretched wrists. It helps players exercise better control while providing seamless palm support.

Mouse settings can have a significant impact on performance, and unfortunately many gamers struggle to find what works best for them. The Aim Lab Settings Optimizer walks gamers through a series of tasks on the Aim Lab software, then analyzes the gamer’s performance, characteristics, and strengths to suggest the best mouse settings suited specifically for that gamer. These settings work exclusively on the ROG Harp Ace Aim Lab Edition gaming mouse. The feature also ensures the ideal settings for mouse DPI, angle adjustment, and lift-off distance.

ROG Harpe Ace weighs just 54 grams, making it one of the lightest wireless esports gaming mice on the market. Its outer shell is made from an incredibly lightweight and eco-friendly organic nylon material, and its internal circuit board has been simplified.

The built-in ROG AimPoint optical sensor tracks motion at sensitivity levels ranging from 100 to 36,000 dpi, while delivering <1% cpi deviation, well below the industry average of 3% cpi deviation. The sensor records movement at speeds of up to 650 inches per second (ips) with 50g acceleration, allowing players to track and strike with absolute precision.

Additionally, ROG SpeedNova wireless technology delivers ultra-low latency performance and reliable data transfers, even in environments plagued by signal interference from surrounding devices. ROG SpeedNova technology ensures that the polling rate remains at an optimal performance level by eliminating interference by scanning the available frequencies. This technology also offers up to 50% more energy efficiency than wireless mice using the same battery. The ROG Harpe Ace offers up to 90 hours of 2.4 GHz wireless gaming.

Harp Ace Mouse features the flexible yet lightweight ROG Paracord cable and 100% PTFE glides with rounded edges to minimize snags, ease movement, and deliver an ultra-smooth glide. In addition, the Harp Ace is equipped with ROG micro-switches that provide an exceptional lifespan of 70 million clicks. The on-the-fly customization feature allows gamers to calibrate and adjust DPI, polling frequency, lift-off distance, or perform a hard reset without going through a software interface. This flexibility makes the Harp Ace ideal for participating in esports tournaments: just connect the mouse to your device and you’re good to go.

  • ROG Hone Ace Aim Lab Edition Gaming Mouse Pad :

The ROG Hone Ace Aim Lab Edition gaming mouse pad features measurement benchmarks that work in tandem with Aim Lab x ROG 360, a practice space in Aim Lab software to help the gamer improve their aim in all directions. Cues help gamers quantify wrist and forearm movement as they move the mouse, allowing them to practice and improve their skills in hitting accuracy and crosshair placement.

The hybrid fabric has a textured surface that provides optimal friction allowing for fast gliding and sufficient resistance for precise control. A protective, military-grade nano coating shields against oil, water, and dust, making ROG Hone Ace easy to clean and maintain for a uniform, responsive surface that lasts over time. The 3mm thick rubber base plus the right amount of padding provide a stable, non-slip base for marathon gaming.

The mouse ROG Harp Ace Aim Lab Edition and the mouse pad Hone Ace Aim Lab Edition will be available during the month of January, against €159.90 and €35.90.
