- LG is introducing the new Z3, G3 and C3 series OLED TVs at CES 2023.

LG gives us a first look at the OLED TVs that will appear in the premium segment in 2023. Specifically, it should go to the Z3, G3 and C3 series.
New processing unit: Alpha9 Gen6 4K AI processor and image quality
Its own deep learning technology is intended to ensure excellent image and sound quality. In addition, there is upscaling with AI support. With an image processing technology, faces and objects are to be recognized. This will probably refine them so that they have lifelike HDR quality.
Above all, the OLED evo G3 models with 55, 65 and 75 inches should get what LG calls “Brightness Booster Max Technology”. With a new light control architecture and algorithms for light amplification, this promises up to 70 percent more brightness than its predecessors. There is also higher image quality, according to LG, because brightness is mapped on a pixel-by-pixel basis. Dolby Vision could provide a further increase in picture quality.
Since the TVs are compatible with HDMI 2.1a, many features of this specification are also available. Among them Quick Media Switching VRR, which removes the black screen that occurs when switching different sources. Of course, the other devices must also support this function.

CES 2023 starts on January 5th in Las Vegas. AMD, Intel, Samsung, Nvidia and LG are all back. We’ll tell you what innovations you can look forward to.
A “game optimizer” lets gamers in particular switch quickly between presets. There should even be settings tailored to genre. The support for Nvidia G-Sync, FreeSync Premium and a variable refresh rate would also be interesting for gamers. The response time is up to 0.1 milliseconds.
webOS and other AI features
If you own an LG TV and want to upgrade this year, then a new user interface will greet you. With Quick Cards you should be able to quickly call up functions and services that you use frequently. The cards are grouped into categories such as gaming or sports. LG is also introducing a so-called “AI Concierge” that compiles a list based on previous searches and usage.

Through AI technology, LG claims that 9.1 sound can be simulated in the built-in speakers. In combination with LG soundbars, the audio channels can use both devices. However, the latter should only work after an upcoming function update of the software. Dolby Atmos is also supported.
sustainability and vision
Due to the lack of backlighting and the use of recycled plastics, LG also has an eye on the environment, according to its own statements in a press release. In addition, the manufacturer also pays attention to the use of recyclable materials in the packaging.
First, LG will present the TVs at CES 2023 from January 5th to January 8th in Las Vegas. The company has its own stand there, where they also present other products, such as an air conditioner with a screen.
