- LG is presenting new display models for gamers in 27 and 45 inches at CES 2023 in Las Vegas.
- The new OLED screens are said to offer record-breaking smooth images at 240 Hertz.

CES 2023 will once again be a showcase for display giants LG and Samsung. The two top Korean manufacturers not only compete with each other in the high-end TV segment, but also in the area of large gaming displays.
While Samsung relies on mini-LED and its new proprietary QD-OLED technology for its Odyssey series, LG Display is introducing new OLED units that are to be manufactured in 27- and 45-inch sizes and, in addition to LG devices, also in Screens from Asus and Corsair are to be installed.

What is new is the ultra-fast refresh rate of 240 Hertz, which according to LG is the first time it can be found in an OLED display for gamers. However, Samsung also promises an equally impressive number of Hertz for its new Odyssey monitors. You can find out at the CES in Las Vegas from January 5th to 8th, 2023 whether the Samsung devices, which are also significantly larger at 49 and 57 inches, actually make the competitor LG look small.
