CES 2023: more than 170 laptops with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40s announced

NVIDIA is present in force at CES 2023. The show dedicated to new technologies will not open its doors until tomorrow, but the manufacturer is making announcements, with a RTX 4070 Tithe new offer GeForce NOW Ultimate or the highlighting of DLSS-3 through many videos of gameplay.

But NVIDIA obviously don’t forget laptops, and in 2023, these PCs for mobile gamers will be equipped with news GeForce RTX 40with an architecture Ada Lovelace for better performance and increased energy efficiency. The manufacturer announces that more than 170 laptops from the main partner manufacturers will arrive on the market soon, and it adds:

The new GeForce RTX 40 laptops are up to 3x more power efficient than the previous generation and bring Ada architecture, NVIDIA DLSS 3 and fifth-generation Max-Q technologies to laptops for the first time. For gamers, RTX 40-series laptops deliver up to 4x better performance in AAA games like Cyberpunk 2077, and for creators, they deliver blazing acceleration for NVIDIA Studio-exclusive apps like Omniverse and the best creative apps like Blender.

The new line of laptop GPUs includes the GeForce RTX 4080, 4070, 4060 and 4050, and for the first time in laptops, an RTX 4090 GPU is also available.

The Ada architecture has created a new class of laptops for enthusiasts, the fastest in the world. The flagship RTX 40 series laptops powered by GeForce RTX 4080 and 4090 GPUs start from $1,999 (€2599) and will be available from February 8.

The new RTX 4070, 4060 and 4050 laptops are faster than the previous generation flagship model, with only a third of the GPU power. The RTX 4050/60/70 laptops start at $999 (€1199) and will be available from February 22.
