  • At the CES in Las Vegas, Samsung is presenting its new TVs for 2023.
  • In addition to smaller Micro-LED models, there are now oversized QD OLED TVs and new Neo QLED ranges to see.
  • The new laser TV The Premiere from Samsung gets 8K resolution on a projection diagonal of 150 inches.

At CES 2023, starting January 5, there will be numerous TV innovations from Samsung that will be released in the current year. The product range of the Korean world market leader covers various different technologies – here they are clearly sorted for you:

QD-OLED: Samsung dares new dimensions with the S95C

The first QD OLED TV S95B was probably the topic of the year in 2022 – after all, Samsung’s return to OLED technology fueled the fight for the high-end market in the TV segment with the compatriots and previous OLED autocrats LG.

In addition to its new QD-OLED technology, Samsung continues to rely on its proven Neo QLED series.

Now the second TV generation is being presented with the company’s own QD-OLED panel technology – and according to the manufacturer, the S95C is to come onto the market in a huge 77 inch in addition to the standard 55 and 65 inch sizes.

Samsung also promises significantly improved brightness values for its new OLED televisions with Quantum Dot technology. It remains to be seen whether the market prices for Samsung’s new TV series, which started out quite expensive, will actually relax due to improved production conditions with the new generation.

Micro-LED: Will smaller models finally make a breakthrough?

In the TV sector, micro-LED technology mainly attracted attention due to its superlatives in terms of screen sizes and pricing: mainly above 90 inches and priced in the range of high-class new cars, micro-LEDs have led a shadowy existence so far – because for most consumers it was Technology simply neither useful nor affordable.

Also interesting…

At CES 2023, Samsung also wants to present smaller models from 50 inches and we can eagerly await the unveiling of the prices for the virtually borderless screen modules – perhaps in the near future the devices will also be suitable for households without a helipad.

Neo QLED 4K and 8K: Samsung’s passion

Before the launch of QD-OLED, QLED and Neo QLED were Samsung’s absolute passion in the TV sector. The new models should stand out above all due to their image enhancement through artificial intelligence – among other things, SDR content should be adapted to the HDR standard in real time.

The Premiere in 8K: Laser TV in the highest resolution

Laser TV is the latest trend and will be the new standard in home cinema in the future: Stylish boxes throw huge cinema pictures on the wall from a few centimeters away. Compared to classic projectors, these are super sharp and can also be seen in daylight. The Samsung model The Premiere will also produce images in 8K for the first time at CES 2023.

With projection sizes of up to 150 inches, this insanely high resolution actually makes sense. However, the question remains as to which content users should use for this – apart from special offers on Samsung TV Plus, there is hardly any content in 8K to see.
