CES 2024 will take place January 9-12 in Las Vegas. The organizers are already promising a river edition.
The high mass of American and global tech, the CES (Consumer Electronics Show), is back! The show, which regained color in 2023 after the turmoil of the COVID-19 period, is actively preparing its next edition, which will take place in Las Vegas from Tuesday January 9 to Friday January 12, 2024. The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), which oversees the event, revealed on Friday the figures expected for the show, as well as the trends and names of the main brands which have already confirmed their participation.
130,000 participants expected
After attracting more than 115,000 people at the start of the year (a completely correct figure for a “real” resumption edition), CES 2024 could cross the barrier of 130,000 participants, and thus do better than the vintage previous, in a context where events are less attractive, since the pandemic.
Organizers expect to welcome more than 1,000 startups and some 3,500 exhibitors, with a sold-out Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall expected. During the last event, 3,100 exhibitors attended.
“ CES 2024 is growing! The show is on track to exceed the exhibition space of CES 2023, with international companies showcasing innovations that will solve our world’s most pressing challenges “, commented CTA President and CEO Gary Shapiro.
AI, mobility, Google and Amazon on the program
And in fact, there is no shortage of brands that have already confirmed their participation in CES 2024. Among them, you will find Amazon, Samsung, Sony, Google, BWM, L’Oréal, Qualcomm, Panasonic, Mercedez-Benz, Hyundai, Bosch, Caterpillar, Honda, Intel, John Deere, Stellantis and Vizio. Other names should follow in the coming weeks.
As for trends, CES 2024 should unsurprisingly give pride of place to AI and robotics, sustainable development, mobility and transport, digital health and the world of start-ups.
Autonomous driving demonstrations should also amuse visitors, as will exhibitions of small and larger electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, which we still wonder if they will fly (everywhere) one day. See you next January to experience CES 2024 with us.
