Two new stick vacuum cleaners join the Roborock catalog: the Flexi Pro and Flexi Lite, designed to easily vacuum and wash under furniture.
CES 2024 is not just about screens, computers and smartphones. It is also an opportunity for all brands to unveil their new products in many areas of tech. This is exactly what Roborock has done with its new Flexi vacuum cleaner range, consisting of the Pro and Lite models.
Access the dust hidden under your furniture
The Chinese company of the Xiaomi group intends to establish itself in all apartments and houses with its new range of vacuum cleaners and all this depends above all on the design of the Flexi Pro and Lite. Although they are not going to transform the vacuum cleaner market, these two models have the advantage of being able to be discreet.
In addition to their white design and no particular frills, the two new Roborocks do not suffer from the habits of the brand and display controlled weights of 5 kg for the Pro and 4 kg for the Lite.
Obviously, the main functionality of these stick vacuum cleaners is, as the name suggests, their flexibility; both models are designed to slide easily under your furniture (allow for a minimum height of 15 centimeters) and in hard-to-reach areas with an arm capable of tilting from horizontal to vertical effortlessly. This feature even has a name: FlatReach.
Clean wet and dry messes at the same time
As you will have understood, the Flexi Pro and Lite allow you to both vacuum and wash the floor. For the first point, both models offer a suction power of 17,000 Pa with automatic adjustment depending on the floor and its detected dirt. As for the washing brush, the Pro model self-cleans with hot water in 30 minutes and at 60°C, versus hot air for 60 minutes and at 50°C for the Lite model.
For the rest of the differences between these two vacuum cleaners, you will have to count on a few additional elements for the Pro model, namely more efficient battery (50 minutes maximum compared to 40 for the Lite), a tank also larger (730 ml of clean water and 450 ml of dirty water compared to 620 ml of clean water and 400 ml of dirty water), an integrated lamp to better identify dirt, adaptive wheels which make it easier to push and pull the vacuum cleaner as well as compatibility with a connected application. The latter allows you to adjust the suction power, the water temperature and even the self-cleaning schedule.
Price and availability
CES 2024 has not yet been an opportunity for Roborock to talk about the prices and release dates of its two new vacuum cleaners Flexi Pro and Flexi Lite.
