At CES 2024a Korean start-up has formalized a revolutionary pillow, capable of eradicating snoring.
Like millions of French people, you may suffer (indirectly) from snoring, this harsh, temporary or permanent noise that disrupts sleep. If it can be reduced, or even disappeared, thanks to a healthy lifestyle, combined with a balanced diet, it can also be eradicated by a new “anti-snoring” pillow.
Motion Pillow, the “anti-snoring” pillow
According to Professor Richard J. Schwab of the University of Pennsylvania, around 57% of men and 40% of women are affected by snoring and, bad news, it tends to become more and more present (and noisy) in aging. On a daily basis, snoring can have very significant social consequences, and frequently constitutes a source of stress between the snorer and the person sharing their bed.
At CES 2024, a South Korean company was keen to present a major innovation: the Motion Pillow. The latter has already been presented in the past, and this is a new version, equipped with small inflatable cushions, which promise to reduce snoring… by automatically repositioning the snorer’s head.
How it works ?
Connected to an external sensor, the Motion Pillow is responsible for detecting noises caused by snoring, which will activate the inflation of the integrated cushions. In this way, the culprit’s head will be gently tilted to the side, which will clear the airways and stop snoring.
No more making your partner roll around at night, the Motion Pillow will take care of it independently. According to its designers, the success rate of the Motion Pillow is around 95%.
Everything can be controlled directly from a mobile application, which will also allow you to keep an eye on the quality of sleep.
The Motion Pillow is already available for sale on the manufacturer’s website, with a first round of shipments planned for January 13.
On the price side, the initial price is $699, but a CES 2024 discount allows you to benefit from a 40% reduction, or a price of $420. And you, are you guilty/victim of snoring?
