Samsung is showing an oven with artificial intelligence at CES 2023. Thanks to this, he should be able to automatically recognize your dishes and save them from burning.

  • Samsung is presenting new smart household appliances even before CES.
  • This includes an oven that, thanks to artificial intelligence, recognizes your dishes directly and sets the right temperature.

Samsung is not only known for its smartphones and tablets, but also has a range of smart household appliances in its range. At CES 2023 in Las Vegas, the Korean company is now presenting an oven with AI support, among other devices.

The Bespoke AI Oven is already available in a few European countries and will also be released in North America in 2023. In addition to a WLAN module, it is also equipped with artificial intelligence. Thanks to this, according to Samsung, it can independently recognize 106 dishes. Once detected, the device sends alerts if something burns. Of course, it also gives you recommendations for cooking modes and duration of preparation in advance.

There is also an internal camera that can be used to monitor the baking process in the oven. Speaking of recommendations: Thanks to the Smart Things integration, the oven can also suggest dishes based on your training data and diet goals.

In addition to the “AI Oven”, the Korean company is also presenting new refrigerators – but primarily for the Korean and North American markets. Anyone who already owns a Samsung Family Hub refrigerator can also look forward to a software update. This includes, among other things, a Google Photos integration.
