The list of Revelations for the 2024 Césars has been revealed. Here are the 32 actresses and actors on whom the Academy is banking, and it is announcing some new features at the same time.
Who will succeed Nadia Tereszkiewicz in Les Amandiers and Bastien Bouillon in La Nuit du 12? The César Academy unveils the pre-selection of Revelations of the 2023 cinema year, for the 2024 Césars, chosen by a committee made up of 20 casting directors*.

The press release sent by the Academy of Caesars indicates some new developments, in particular concerning the title of these Caesars: “Following a modification of the Regulations of the César Academy voted in the House of Representatives on October 25, the César for Most Promising Female and the César for Best Promising Male take, from the 2024 Césars, the designation César de la Meilleure Female Revelation and César for Best Male Revelation.“
“Furthermore, the list of 32 Revelations becomes an Official Selection for the first round of voting for the 2024 Césars. The nominees in the Female Revelation and Male Revelation categories will thus be chosen by the voting members of the Academy from among the 16 Female Revelations and the 16 Male revelations.“
Finally, this press release specifies: “No rule has been made regarding a minimum and/or maximum age limitation. Each profile is studied at length and debated within the Committee with meticulousness and respect for the backgrounds and sensitivities of each person.“
These 32 emerging talents from French cinema will be brought together in a short film produced this year by photographer Malick Bodian.
His project will be revealed on January 15, 2024 on the occasion of the Evening of Revelations, given in honor of the 32 Revelations, accompanied by their godmothers and cinema sponsors.
The film and photographs produced by Malick Bodian will be made available to all media and broadcast on all of the Academy’s social networks so that the general public can discover them.
The complete list of 2024 César nominations, including the 10 Révélations finalists, will be known on January 24, 2024.
The 49th César ceremony will be held on February 23, 2024. It will be broadcast live and unencrypted by Canal+, from the legendary Olympia hall in Paris.
