"C'est Canteloup": a sketch on the attack on Romans-sur-Isère scandalizes the mayor of the city: Femme Actuelle Le MAG

After being deprogrammed for several weeks, the program It's canteloup is back on TF1 since Monday April 6. While confined, Alessandra Sublet and Nicolas Canteloup recorded their streak for the channel from their respective homes. As usual, the humorist proposed a series of sketches. This time, he tackled a painful subject: the attack that occurred in Romans-sur-Isère in the Drôme, which claimed the lives of two people. "It is a drama. But note that this made it possible to make people of Isère understand that one should not hang out in the street, and rather stay at home. So, I grant you, the method is extreme pampering, even for the prefect of Paris Didier Lallement", declared the humorist while imitating the Minister of the Interior Christophe Castaner. "No but wait, you are completely crazy to say that. It is very serious, there were two deaths", dropped Alessandra Sublet. "It is very serious, you are right to remind him. Especially since he did not have his exit certificate with him. I can tell you that we were intractable and that he therefore logically suffered a fine of 135 euros ".

City mayor demands apology from Nicolas Canteloup

Very shocked by this sketch, the mayor of Romans-sur-Isère, Marie-Hélène Thoraval, demanded an apology from the chain. "After this outrageous sketch, I indeed ask the management of TF1, the producers of It's canteloup, to Nicolas Canteloup and Alessandra Sublet that an apology be presented to the Romanians and to the families of the victims ", she explained. The president of the Community of Communes Porte de DrômArdèche, Pierre Jouvet, also reacted violently. "Mr. Canteloup, what you did last night is deeply shocking and totally unacceptable. It’s not humor, it’s a deep disrespect, an insult to the victims, their families and those injured Saturday morning in Romans-sur-Isère ", he wrote on Twitter. And to add: "I want you to regain the little honor you have left after this sequence by apologizing immediately. The same goes for TF1, which we have the right to expect the same thing. The situation is sufficiently trying , dramatic, so as not to add to it."
