CGG: new generation of equipment at Sercel – 01/16/2024 at 10:50

(CercleFinance.com) – Sercel, the seismic subsidiary of CGG, unveiled on Tuesday a new generation of terrestrial acquisition and vibrator control systems intended to improve data recording, reliability and fidelity.

Its new cabled system – called ‘528’ – is characterized in particular by a lighter weight and lower energy consumption, allowing it in particular to be powered by solar energy.

Its scalable architecture gives it flexibility allowing it to adapt to projects of different sizes, from large areas to small areas, with maintained efficiency.

As for the VE564 vibro-seismic electronic technology, which can be integrated into the 528 platform, it is equipped with powerful decision-making tools, such as innovative productivity dashboards, for optimized management of the fleet of vibrators.
