Chadwick Boseman and Sienna Miller: He waived part of his salary for them

To show what kind of person Chadwick Boseman was, Sienna Miller now talks about an experience with the late actor.

Several weeks after the surprising death of Chadwick Boseman (1976-2020), his colleague Sienna Miller (38) spoke for the first time about a special experience with the "Black Panther" star. He had waived part of his fee so that she could earn more. Boseman died in late August at the age of 43 from complications from colon cancer that he had not made public.

In an interview with the film magazine "Empire", Miller explained that Boseman, who was also in front of the camera and was involved in the production, absolutely wanted her to be part of "21 Bridges" at the time. You tell the story now to show what kind of person Boseman was.

Otherwise it won't happen

"It was a pretty big budget movie and I know everyone has heard of the inequality of pay for men and women in Hollywood, but I asked about an amount the studio wouldn't pay," Miller said. The film was made at a time when she actually didn't want to shoot. However, she would agree if she was rewarded accordingly, she had declared at the time. In the end, Boseman "donated" part of his own fee so that it could be better paid. The late actor said that this was the amount she earned.

"It was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced," explains Miller. Something like that just doesn't happen otherwise. For them it is inconceivable that another actor would have done something similar for them.
