"It was a pretty big budget movie and I know everyone has heard of the inequality of pay for men and women in Hollywood, but I asked about an amount the studio wouldn't pay," Miller said. In the end, Boseman "donated" part of his own fee so that it could be better paid. The late actor said that this was the amount she earned.
"It was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced," explains Miller. Something like that just doesn't happen otherwise. For them it is inconceivable that another actor would have done something similar for them.
