Today is the Champions League final between Liverpool FC and Real Madrid. Football fans are there live on TV or stream.
There are only a few hours left before the Champions League final kicks off this Saturday evening. Jürgen Klopp (54) meets Real Madrid with Liverpool at the Stade de France in Paris. Football fans in Germany follow the final either on ZDF or on DAZN.
Champions League final broadcast details
The “sportstudio UEFA Champions League: FC Liverpool – Real Madrid” starts at 8:25 p.m. on ZDF. Viewers can, as usual, via TV or Stream via the media library turn on. Moderator Jochen Breyer (39) welcomes experts Per Mertesacker (37) and Christoph Kramer (31); kick-off is at 9:00 p.m. The reporter legend Béla Réthy (65) will comment. During the half-time break, the station shows the “heute journal” with Marietta Slomka (53) at around 9:45 p.m. and the award ceremony after the game.

As early as 7:20 p.m., ZDF is showing a special, quarter-hour “sportstudio” edition in preparation for the final, which focuses on the finalists and their path to the final. Here, too, Breyer already welcomes Mertesacker and Kramer as experts.
The moderator and the football experts can also be seen after the final from 11:00 p.m. – should there be no overtime and penalty shoot-outs – in another edition of the ZDF “sportstudio”. Referee expert Manuel Gräfe (48) also joins the post-reporting. Martina Voss-Tecklenburg (54), national coach of the German women’s national team, will also be added.
