Champs-sur-Marne: a teenager discovers a corpse hidden in a forest

A corpse in the state of a skeleton was discovered by a teenager on a walk in the forest, in Champs-sur-Marne (Seine-et-Marne), this Sunday, March 27.

The body, which was therefore in an advanced state of decomposition, was hidden in thickets, reports Actu17. The boy saw him by chance, while he was walking with relatives. The Meaux prosecutor’s office confirmed this discovery to our colleagues.

Investigators went to the scene to make the first observations. A forensic pathologist observed the corpse, before a full autopsy scheduled later. He noticed a severe injury to the back of the skull. Further investigations should answer this question. The identity of the dead person will also have to be found.

An investigation “in search of the causes of death” has also been opened by the prosecution. The Noisiel urban security brigade is in charge of it.
