On March 30, the team of the series Gen V – spin-off of The Boys – was struck by tragedy. Actor Chance Perdomo, 27, died following a motorcycle accident. Following his disappearance, the production announced, through a press release, that the filming initially scheduled for April 8 was postponed for an indefinite period.
A few weeks have passed and while filming should finally start this month of May, the producers of the series affirm that they will not hire any actor to replace Chance Perdomo in the role of Andre Anderson.
“As we continue to mourn the loss of Chance Perdomo, the entire Gen V team is determined to find the best way to honor himexplains a press release. We’re not going to recast the role because no one can replace Chance.”
