WhatsApp rolled out an update a few months ago that gave you the option to share the screen with each other during a video call. Now the messenger is planning to add another function to screen sharing.
According to the WABetaInfo portal, it will in future be possible for participants in a video call to listen to videos and music together if someone shares their screen.
Screen sharing will soon also transmit sound
This news will please many of you, as previously screen sharing was only possible without sound and has therefore significantly limited the option. With this update, video calls will become more interactive in the future. No matter whether you watch videos together, listen to music or give a presentation during a meeting.
The option is currently under development and will be made available in a future update. When this will appear is still unclear.
