Charente-Maritime: the Siblu campsite takes legal action to dislodge its former tenants from the car park

Siblu criticizes the couple for not having paid their rent for 2021. After several reminders and formal notices, the company asked the couple to move their mobile home out of the campsite at the end of November 2021. The procedure was finally cancelled. Then, on December 23, Siblu moved the mobile home of Isabelle Pré and Laurent Portier, in the presence of a bailiff, to the parking lot of the campsite.

The couple had lived in La Pignade since 2014. In April 2021, they filed a fraud complaint against Siblu. Since then, they have unsuccessfully asked for a detailed invoice: they feel aggrieved by the rent of 5,028 euros that Siblu is asking them for 2021. For Laurent Portier and his wife, there are 778 euros too much. Without an invoice, without explanation, they decided to continue to occupy their accommodation. They now live in the parking lot of the campsite and still want to get their pitch back.

Other disgruntled owners

The Alur law provides that a residence occupied at least eight months of the year must be considered as a main residence. Laurent Portier recalls that Siblu did not respect the winter break by moving the mobile home, now without access to water or electricity.

Laurent Portier, as president of the Association of Mobile Home Owners of France, also wrote an open letter to the President of the Republic in which he underlined the opacity of rents and the numerous complaints filed, according to him, by d other owners who also feel aggrieved.
