Royal news has been marked since September 8, 2022 by the death of Queen Elizabeth II, who died at her home in Balmoral, Scotland. In Monaco, Prince Albert II and his wife Charlene of Monaco themselves paid tribute to Elizabeth II duringa religious service specially organized for this purpose. Prince Albert II and Charlene have indeed gone to lay the first stone of what will soon be a refuge for the SPA, the Society for the Protection of Animals, in Monaco. And this public appearance was enough to warm hearts since the prince and the princess appear closer than ever, accomplices and tender in the face of the photographers present on the spot.

During 2021, Charlene de Monaco suffered from a serious ENT infection following which she had to be operated on several times. This infection, which she contracted during a trip to South Africa, the country where she grew up, then prevented from joining the Rock for several months.
