Charles Marinakis has been appointed head of the Century 21 France real estate agency network after the sudden death of Laurent Vimont in mid-March, the group announced on Thursday.

Laurent Vimont had worked for Century 21 since its establishment in France in 1987. He took over as head of its IT branch in 2000 before becoming group president in early 2009.

In 2021, Century 21 was acquired by the Arche group of entrepreneur and politician Philippe Briand, after 15 years under the control of the promoter Nexity.
