While Charlotte Casiraghi left her husband alone on his big evening in Cannes, Dimitri Rassam was happy about the support of this Monegasque couple.
They have appeared together at the Cannes International Film Festival every year since 2019, but in 2024 they are breaking with this tradition: After Dimitri Rassam, 42, has been a welcome guest on the Côte d’Red Carpet since the glamorous event began this year. Azure, he took a day break to be with his wife to leave the stage to Charlotte Casiraghi. Without accompaniment and her engagement ring, the 37-year-old posed for the press on May 21, 2024, only to say goodbye to Cannes shortly afterwards. She missed what was probably her husband’s most important evening just one day later.
Charlotte Casiraghi misses Dimitri Rassam’s ‘unforgettable moment’
On May 22nd, the world premiere of Dimitri Rassam’s film “Le Comte de Monte Cristo” took place in Cannes. A masterpiece, according to industry circles. It was not for nothing that Rassam and his team were able to enjoy around 15 minutes of applause. “That was an unforgettable moment,” the filmmaker wrote on Instagram afterwards and thanked his team, the production company and the audience in Cannes. He didn’t mention his wife at all, and there was no trace of her in the photos of the memorable evening that Rassam shared in his story. Instead, the 42-year-old proudly posted some pictures of his parents and daughter Darya supporting him on Wednesday evening.
Pierre Casiraghi and Beatrice Borromeo come to Cannes
But it wasn’t just his family that he could rely on, Dimitri Rassam was also able to look forward to support from the principality. Pierre Casiraghi, 36, and his wife Beatrice Borromeo, 38, did not miss the premiere of “Le Comte de Monte Cristo” and made the journey from Monaco to Cannes especially for Rassam.

Neither the Monegasque nor the filmmaker have commented on Charlotte Casiraghi’s absence on Wednesday evening and their separate appearances during the film festival. The couple made their last official joint appearance on October 14, 2023 at the 60th AMADE anniversary dinner at the Monte Carlo Opera.
