Whether it be during the Jubilee, the Easter Mass or for the Queen’s funeral Elizabeth II, hard not to notice the obvious complicity which binds Kate Middleton and Charlotte, her 7-year-old daughter! Constantly clinging to her mother’s hand, the little girl copies absolutely everything, from her outfits to her smiles, including her gestures, and even watches over her two brothers (George, 9, and Louis, 4), making sure like a real little mom that everything goes well in public.
But the little girl also seems to have caught a tic from the Princess of Wales: when she is nervous, she runs her hand through her hair, tucking the flyaways behind her ear. An attitude that Charlotte also has and that we could see when she appeared with both her parents at the Commonwealth Games. The little girl kept touching her braids, surely stressed to be the center of attention at this point.
During the trip to Cardiff with her parents for the Jubilee weekend, she was also embarrassed to be at the center of the walkabout and had multiplied the gestures towards her hair. Fortunately, in this kind of case, she can always count on her mother: always very present, Kate Middleton does not hesitate to put a comforting hand on his shouldereven to bend down to its height.
And the little girl has a great support when things get too stressful for her: her 9-year-old brother George, who is often with her in public and sometimes seems just as shy as she is.
