Yann Moix is determined not to let it go. The columnist wanted to respond to the accusations of the family of Charlotte Valandrey.
His revelations had the effect of a bomb. While Charlotte Valandrey breathed her last on July 13, Yann Moix wanted to pay tribute to her, revealing at the same time, his love affair with the actress. But for the family of the actress, all of this is just a web of lies. Indeed, on July 25, Charlotte Valandrey’s entourage deplored the columnist’s testimony in a press release, indicating that his tribute was “of storytelling, scripting, and personal highlighting”, accusing him of inventing from scratch what he said.
“No one among the closest is aware of this complicity”. But now Yann Moix has decided to drive the point home. Indeed, in the columns of Paris Matchhe responded to these charges: “I will not – and will – not remove a word, a line, a semicolon, a comma from this tribute. I completely sympathize and completely understand that the parents of such a remarkable daughter can be in a state of sadness and reduction”, he specified.

But for the relatives of Charlotte Valandrey, all this does not hold. “What we know is a brief rapprochement without a love story when they were young but especially not much since”. For Yann Moix, this does not reflect of what he lived with the actress : “What I have to say is very simple, one would have to be very naive to believe that the same being distributes itself in the same way to all its interlocutors, to the human beings it meets on its way during its existence […] the complicity that I had with her was all the more profound, inestimable and precious as it has always been clandestine. We had a relationship that no one can understand and no one can take away from us.”
