Charwood Energy: two construction starts, one new contract

(CercleFinance.com) – Charwood Energy announced on Tuesday evening that it had won three projects representing a total amount of more than three million euros, the vast majority of which will be deliverable and billable in 2023.

The group based in Morbihan – which designs and installs equipment for the production of renewable energy from biomass – yesterday announced the launch of the construction of a sanitation unit in Normandy and a biomass boiler room in the Sarthe.

These projects, whose contracts were announced last September, must be carried out for a group of municipalities and 15 farms.

At the same time, Charwood formalized the signing of a new order for the construction of a biomass boiler room in Mayenne on behalf of a large poultry farmer.

Coupled with a heating network over 1,000 meters long, this project, with a power of 700kW wood and 1,100kW gas, will cover eight buildings for a total area of 11,000 m2.

It should make it possible to improve breeding conditions and animal welfare on the farm by providing dry heat that reduces building humidity, while replacing the use of fossil gas with local biomass.
