The businessman also tweeted a ‘meme’ implying that ChatGPT would replace mainstream media as the “captain of propaganda”.

As America’s tech giants battle for dominance in artificial intelligence, Redmond’s software giant Microsoft indeed seems to have taken a few steps ahead following its investment of several billion in OpenAI, at the origin of ChatGPT, which has just crossed 100 million users in a record time of two months. Microsoft device and search manager Yusef Mehdi, discussing the company’s use of ChatGPT in its search engine, Bing, made no secret of his satisfaction just recently, saying the integration would open “a new era” for search engines. Microsoft announced last week its desire to revamp its Bing search engine and Edge web browser with artificial intelligence.
